7 Day Immersion - Silence, Breathwork, Meditation, Vedic Life Mapping & Culinary Experience, Hudson Valley, NY.
Pause. Reflect. Transform.
Most people arrive at this retreat because the mind won’t stop talking. Or because they’ve been so absorbed in the day-to-day that they haven’t had the space to step back and see what’s actually happening.
This retreat is designed to create that space — and introduce a precise technique that allows clarity to emerge, rather than be forced.
What makes this retreat different: absolute silence for three days, a precise breathwork system validated by EEG brainwave measurement, Vedic life pattern mapping using your birth chart, hands-on Indian cooking, and a maximum of 3 guests — meaning every session is built around you specifically.
The reset comes from a simple breathing sequence. In this retreat, that sequence is called Shakti Pranayama — a breath-centered discipline focused on stillness through precision, not effort. It includes Shat Kriya, Vāsi Yoga, Pancha vayu Kriya and Chakra alignment — each a distinct layer of the same system, and together the core of Always On Meditation.
The practice cultivates SMR brainwaves — one of the key neurological pre-conditions for gamma coherence to emerge naturally. EEG scans are used to observe this shift directly.
Transform from Within: Start with the Body, Not Just the Mind
We often try to fix our lives by addressing problems at the surface — affirmations, positive thinking, mindset work. Yet the same patterns keep returning. This is because thoughts are not a psychological phenomenon. They arise from the electrical activity of synapses connecting neurons in the brain.
That electrical activity is profoundly shaped by the vibrational state of the body.
To change the psychology, you have to first change the biology.
This is what the breathwork does. Rather than forcing new thoughts, it tunes the body first — allowing clarity and new patterns to emerge naturally, without effort.

Michelle Hammerton (5 Stars) - One of the Most Memorable Experiences of my Life
I’ve been practicing yoga since 1973, and must say that
what I learned here through this beautiful soul, Harish, is much more
than inspiring. I feel blessed and honored to have Google stumbled upon
this wonderful yogic breath retreat.
Harish is a very humble man but also keenly knowledgeable, patient,
generous, down to earth, and a fantastic cook to say the least. He also
has a great sense of humor and lots of laughs were shared with him and
the other guest. Another great bonus - small, intimate class sizes for
dedicated instructions with care and camaraderie.
So, I’m calling all yogis and yogini’s, as I like to say, “ if you
don’t know Harish you don’t know jack about yoga. “ He is a true
inspiration, sharing his knowledge and wisdom with the students
fortunate enough to find him. You will leave feeling lighter, healthier,
happier, and eager to continue what you learn from him. If you have the
time, I suggest the 10 day vs 4 because you won’t want it to end. You
will look and feel younger, better, without any of the traditional
rigorous work. I always felt that the (pranic) breath work was extremely
discounted and overlooked in the west, so discovering a great teacher
of these ancient techniques is a rare gift.
As if this wasn’t enough, Harish is also a great cook! His food is
simply delicious and almost effortlessly prepared using his incredible
blends. He is happy to teach us how to prepare mouth-watering Indian
foods. As a mother who did lots of cooking, I already knew my way around
the kitchen, but I learned so many new dishes, tips and tricks that I
can’t wait to try out on my family and friends.
I’ve traveled much of the world and have been to India twice. This is
truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. So many thanks
to you, dear Harish!
Vicki Earl (5 Stars) - Amazing Experience that Provided me with Clarity and Peace.
I just returned from this amazing weekend retreat. Like many people I was under a lot of stress and looking for clarity, uncertain aspects of my future relationships, career, etc.
I had recently watched the movie “Eat, Pray Love“. if you haven’t seen it, I would recommend it. Julia Roberts is searching for clarity and takes a trip to India, where she learns breathing techniques, meditation, etc. While I enjoyed the movie, which is based on a true story, a trip to India is just not feasible for me. But thanks to the universe, India came to me! I met Harish through this website. Having read the reviews, looking at his website and retreat offerings, it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.I found this to be an amazing experience that provided me with clarity and peace. The website and course online as a guide to continue to practice at home are a resource I will definitely use.I also opted to complete the astrology chart, which provided valuable insights into my own behavior patterns. This will allow me to reflect and make choices differently based on this information. Harish is a great host, instructor, and cook. I enjoyed the cooking lessons as well.Accommodations were clean and comfortable. His home is set in a very peaceful setting, allowing for a wonderful space for quiet reflection.
Meriem (5 Stars): Left With Knowledge That I’ll Carry With Me For A Lifetime
I went to the retreat with no expectations, other than to deepen my knowledge and find a bit of inner peace through silence.
The location was wonderful, the valley is beautiful, I highly recommend taking a little walk.
The food definitely exceeded my expectations: flavorful, nourishing, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was truly one of the highlights of the weekend.
However, the greatest highlight was Harish himself! His warmth, kindness, and genuine willingness to help. He broke down every concept so clearly, ensuring I understood not just the theory but also how to apply it in practice. We were 2, and it allowed us to go in depth at every step.He also used this small device, EEG scanner , to scan brain electrical activity and measure concentration levels. We did the first scan on Friday and repeated it on Saturday after all the theory work , and it was incredible to see how much my concentration during meditation had improved.
His guidance is truly remarkable. I left with knowledge that I’ll carry with me for a lifetime and can continue to apply as I grow.
Kshitij Sinha (5 Stars) - Deeply Experiential and Personalized
Harish's program offers a rare blend of personal attention, deep spiritual insight, and holistic learning. With only a few students per session (I was the only one in mine), Harish provides full, undivided attention and teaches from real-life experience rather than theory.
His teaching is grounded in his personal journey—learning from various Siddhas across South India. He also provided materials which are detailed and thoughtfully compiled, blending practices from Vaasi Yoga, Shat Kriya, and Panch Vayu kriya.
As a bonus, the meals were exceptional—flavored with handcrafted Beyond Masalas that made cooking feel effortless. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic, experiential path.
Real-Time Meditation Feedback with EEG Brainwave Monitoring
Most people have no way of knowing whether their meditation is actually working. This retreat changes that.
Before formal instruction begins, we scan your brainwaves during your current practice — whatever that looks like today. After practicing Shakti Pranayama, we scan again. The before-and-after reveals the shift directly: often a measurable increase in SMR brainwaves, one of the key neurological pre-conditions for deeper states like gamma coherence to emerge.
There is no guesswork. No relying on how you feel. You see the data, you understand what changed, and you leave with the clarity to self-correct at home — aligning your practice with the method the ancient yogis used, now made visible through modern science.

Core practices include:
Pancha Vayu Kriya
Alignment of the Five Vital Airs to stabilize the physiological and energetic base.
Chakra Alignment
Balancing emotional tone and elemental structure.
Vāsi Rhythm
Establishing the subtle breath rhythm that supports meditative stability.
Multiple Immersion Sessions
45-min Breath work sessions with 30-min breaks
----------------------------------------
3 Days of Absolute Silence Begins
----------------------------------------
Day 4: Thursday - Aligning 5 Vital Air to Vasi Rhythm.
The outer layer. The five vital airs govern how breath moves through the body — its direction, its function, its reach. Before anything deeper can align, this physiological foundation must come into coherence. Today we bring each of the five movements of prāna into the same rhythm as Vāsi. When the vital airs are in sync, the body stops pulling attention outward. Stillness becomes possible.
Multiple Immersion Sessions
45 minutes Pancha Vayu Kriya + 30 minute breaks
----------------------------------------
Day 5: Friday - Aligning Chakras, Elements & Emotional Centers to Vāsi Rhythm
Nested within the vital airs are two interlocking systems — the seven chakras and the five elements. The chakras are not just energy centers; they are also the seats of emotion — each one carrying a distinct emotional tone, a particular quality of feeling that shapes how we experience and respond to life. And each chakra exists in dynamic yin-yang relationship with its corresponding element, grounding that emotional quality in the physical world.
Today we bring both layers — the emotional and the elemental — into alignment with the Vāsi rhythm simultaneously. This is not two practices — it is one, because the chakras and elements are never truly separate. As this layer comes into coherence, emotion, element, and breath begin to move as one.
Multiple Immersion Sessions
45 minutes Charka Shodhana + Pancha Bootha Kriya + 30 minute breaks
----------------------------------------
Day 6: Saturday - Vāsi Rhythm — Pure Practice
The innermost layer. The vital airs are aligned. The emotional centers are aligned. Now the scaffolding is released. What remains is Vāsi — the rhythm itself, without technique, without effort, without layers to traverse. This is the day of pure practice. Nothing is added. Everything settles into the one rhythm that was always at the center.
Multiple Immersion Sessions
45 minutes Vasi Yoga + 30 minute breaks
----------------------------------------
Sunday (Day 7) – Integration & Departure
- 6:30 AM: Kundalini Shat Kriya
- Morning: Integration & Discussion
- 12:30 PM: Lunch - silence ends here

I sought out a silent retreat to begin my new year in a centered and calm state. External noise had picked up over the prior year, my daily meditation practice had fallen off, and I felt unlike my usual Self.
Harish is a fantastic host. The way in which he easily explains complex ancient Vedic and Yogic teachings is incredible. I received so much in such a short amount of time, and I use the knowledge he imparted on me in my daily life weeks later.
His authentic Indian cooking is delicious, and I brought home a few spices which he makes to continue making the easy-to-prep and healthy meals for myself.
Shat Kriya & Vasi Yoga are not techniques that is taught in many places. These are ancient closed-door practices, which only a select few seekers spend years finding where they can learn them. To have Harish so beautifully teach these practices is no coincidence. If you are called to attend this retreat, consider yourself blessed to be able to learn these methods of psychophysiological breathwork and meditation. The movement of the prana in your body with daily consistent practice will show you a completely different side of yourself.
Additionally, two of my favorite parts were 1) the use of EEG brain scanners to help me empirically see how deep I was going into meditation and be able to replicate the aspects that worked; and 2) the Vedic Astrology chart and zooming into sidhi moment to help make choices in life.
I am walking away from my retreat with centered clarity and a renewed intention to deepen my meditation practice, as that is the true "work" - not the external noise we mindlessly fill our days with. Thank you so much, Harish!
It was a very insightful weekend. It was my first time to any retreat, and I learned so much. Go with an open mind and leave with a new way of breathing. Don't leave without getting some of Harish's products.
I recently had the privilege of attending the 3-day reset breathwork retreat hosted by Harish, and I can honestly say it’s an experience I will never forget. Words almost fail to describe the impact it had on me—not just physically or mentally, but on a soul level. I went in carrying a lot and came out feeling lighter, clearer, and more deeply connected to myself than I have in a very long time.
The breathwork sessions were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. They were intense, beautiful, and at times completely unexplainable. Harish guided us with such grounded wisdom and care, creating a safe space where I could truly let go. Each session brought something new to the surface—grief, clarity and joy.
But this retreat was more than just breathwork. Harish also shared his passion for Indian cooking, teaching us to create incredible dishes using his own handcrafted spice blends. The food we cooked and shared felt like nourishment on every level.
This retreat was a reset in the truest sense of the word. It was a pause, a deep breath, a reminder of who I am beneath the noise. If you're going through something, or even if you're not, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Harish doesn’t just host a retreat—he holds a sacred space for transformation.
Thank you, Harish. I’ll carry this with me always.
The ITY program that Harish has created is a thorough and methodical approach to ancient breathing techniques. With this practice, I’ve learned to pay attention to my breath as I move through my daily life. It helps me stay attuned to my thoughts and feelings that arise as life happens. Harish is a very thoughtful and patient teacher. He has a wealth of knowledge about pranayama, its physiological benefits to the body and how it brings about a positive change in one’s thoughts and outlook. He is more than happy to repeatedly clarify and explain in depth any questions that come his way. He is an excellent guide through my practice daily. ITY helps me connect the dots in my life - from reacting to responding. If you stick with this program, you will most certainly see a change in you and how you move in your life!
